According to what has been reported by the front page of reputed Spanish sports newspaper Mundo Deportivo, Juventus and Liverpool have suffered a transfer blow as target Adrien Rabiot seeks to move to Barcelona, when his PSG contract expires next summer.
Rabiot could leave on a free next summer or Barcelona could choose to make a move in January, signing the midfielder on a cut-price deal.
Liverpool and Juventus will have to seek alternatives to the Frenchman, who has also been a target of AC Milan, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur. Juve may instead turn to Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba, who is said to be interested in a return to Turin, to join the Juventus that he left to move to England.
Alternatively, Juventus could target Ajax midfielder Frenkie de Jong, who is also a target of Barcelona, whom might opt out of a move for the Dutch youngster if they are to sign PSG’s French midfielder.
