Julen Lopetegui is running out of credit. A defeat in the Classic this Sunday would definitely sentence the Basque coach. And even winning many doubt that he will remain on the bench of Real Madrid for much longer.
Florentino Pérez continues with his plan, he has long been working on alternatives for Lopetegui's replacement, which is likely to be Antonio Conte who has gained more ground in bagging the contract. He is Italian and is definetly the most feasible option for Los Blancos. Real Madrid needs a manager that would bring back the hard hand that is needed and Conte is the man fit for the task.
Conte is already seen in Real Madrid, and has in place his choice lists for the winter market. Sources disclosed earlier on that names like Icardi and Alaba has been mentioned as options during the first contact between the Italian and Real Madrid.Antonio would be charged to three heavyweights of the first team: Marcelo, Benzema and Keylor Navas. It does not count on them, instead, the Italian has already requested top-level reinforcements.
Conte is already with his luggages waiting for a call hoping that the signing will be officially completed by the coming week.
